Apple have today shared two new trailers for its upcoming original content coming to Apple TV+ at the service’s November 1st launch. Ghostwriter and Helpsters were confirmed to be a part of the family friendly portion of launch content yet until now no trailers were released. These previews can now be viewed via the company’s TV app or by visiting tv.apple.com.

Helpsters is an educational kids show, created by Tim McKeon (PBS Kids’ Odd Squad) and Sesame Workshop. The show aims to teach children about problem solving and coding concepts in a new fresh, fun way. The preview (Here) – set in a famous fictional Manhattan street – introduces the Helpsters; Cody, Mr. Primm, Scatter, Heart and Jackie as they wait patiently for someone to help whilst singing the shows theme song (already stuck in my head). The overall tone and charm should feel very familiar to existing fans of Big Bird, Oscar the Grouch and Elmo.
Ghostwriter is one of a number of reboots coming to Apple TV+. Originally a American children’s mystery series in the 90’s. Ghostwriter sees four kids (equip with iPhones) team up to solve mysteries as fictional characters enter the real world via a haunted book store. The preview (Here) suggests one such fictional character is White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland, mixing animated CGI characters alongside a real life cast. Helpsters and Ghostwriter showcase the family offerings coming at launch to Apple TV+ when the service debuts on November 1st in over 150 countries. Apple tv+ will cost $4.99/month following a 7 day free trial. Purchasers of iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Mac or Apple TV hardware will receive one years subscription for free.
