‘Foundation’ made its long-awaited debut on Apple TV+ this past Friday and to accompany this, Apple has launched ‘Foundation: The Official Podcast’, which will also release every Friday and delve deeper into the week‘s episode.

Join host Jason Concepcion and Foundation’s showrunner and executive producer David S. Goyer as they discuss adapting Isaac Asimov’s iconic novels for the screen. Writers from the show chat with Jason and David to unpack the latest episode of the Apple Original series, giving viewers a deeper dive into the story. Episodes of the show and the podcast premiere on Fridays. So watch first on Apple TV+ (where available), then listen to the podcast for the ultimate Foundation experience.

Serving as much more than a simple recap show, the first episode offers a fascinating glimpse into how the show was made and the events that led to David S. Goyer becoming involved with it. It’s a highly enjoyable listen that compliments the first two episodes well and breaks down key moments and themes in a fun and interesting way for listeners to digest after watching.

Apple also released an official podcast to promote the second season of ‘For All Mankind’ earlier this year and will also debut another show that will premiere alongside ‘The Problem With Jon Stewart’ later this month.

Check out ‘Foundation: The Official Podcast’ on Apple Podcasts now.

Foundation is available on Apple TV+ now with new episodes airing every Friday. Check out our full review of the first season here.

Apple TV+ is priced at $4.99 per month or $49.99 annually after a free 7-day trial.
