Shooting has commenced on Apple's first original French language series.

Starring Vincent Cassel (Black Swan, Eastern Promises) and Eva Green (Penny Dreadful, Casino Royale), the Anglo-French thriller series is entitled 'Liaison' and is 'a high-stakes, contemporary thriller exploring how the mistakes of our past have the potential to destroy our future,” combining action with an unpredictable, multi-layered plot where “espionage and political intrigue play out against a story of passionate and enduring love.” According to Variety.

The cast also includes the excellent Peter Mullan (Tyrannosaur, Top of the Lake) and is directed by Stephen Hopkins, director of the first season of 24. The series is written by 'Spiral' writer Virginie Brac.
