Apple Original Films and Skydance Animation have revealed that their debut animated feature film 'Luck' will premiere globally on Apple TV+ on Friday August 5th.
The film tells the story of Sam Greenfield, the unluckiest person in the world, who discovers the mysterious Land of Luck. Sam must team up with the magical creatures there in an attempt to turn her luck around. Eva Noblezada will provide the voice for Sam and Simon Pegg will star as Bob, a lucky black cat from the Land of Luck.
In addition, the star-studded cast will also feature Flula Borg, Lil Rel Howery, Colin O’Donoghue, John Ratzenberger, Adelynn Spoon, Whoopi Goldberg and two-time Academy Award winner Jane Fonda as 'The Dragon'.
Directed by Peggy Holmes, 'Luck' will join an upcoming slate of original releases from Apple and Skydance including animated series 'The Search for WondLa' and feature film 'Spellbound', with more titles to be announced as part of a multi-year partnership between the two companies.
