Apple has released the full-length trailer for 'Slow Horses', the adaptation of the first 'Slough House' series of espionage novels by Mick Herron.
Centered on the dysfunctional team of British intelligence agents who serve in a dumping ground department of MI5 called Slough House and called 'Slow Horses' themselves. Gary Oldman stars as the leader of the section, an alcoholic, rude and sarcastic agent who has to deal with all the other agents dumped there for messing up various other missions. Kristin Scott Thomas and Jack Lowden also star alongside Jonathan Pryce and Olivia Cooke.
The first season centres around the first Slough House book 'Slow Horses'. A second season has already been filmed and will centre around the second book in the series by Mick Herron; 'Dead Lions'.
'Slow Horses' will premiere globally on Apple TV+ with the first two of six episodes on April 1st with a new episode every subsequent Friday through April 29th.
Fun Fact: the 'Slough House' series contains 11 novels and counting, with a new one being released every year since 2015 including this year's 'Bad Actors'.
