Apple TV+ Receives Nine Critics Choice Television Awards Nominations

Apple TV+ has been honoured with nine Critics Choice Television Awards nominations, with mentions in several categories including best drama and best comedy series. On Monday evening, the Critics Choice Association announced the TV nominations with the film nominations to be announced next week.

In addition to several nominations for Ted Lasso, TV+ newcomer 'Acapulco' received a nomination for best foreign language series and the Apple Original 'Come From Away' received a nod in the best movie made for television category.

The full list of Apple TV+ nominations are as follows:

Best Drama Series: For All Mankind
Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series: Billy Crudup - The Morning Show
Best Comedy Series: Ted Lasso
Best Actor in a Comedy Series: Jason Sudeikis - Ted Lasso
Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series: Brett Goldstein - Ted Lasso
Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series: Hannah Waddingham - Ted Lasso
Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series: Kristin Chenoweth - Schmigadoon!
Best Movie Made for Television: Come From Away
Best Foreign Language Series: Acapulco

These nominations follow the recent Primetime Emmy Awards, for which 'Ted Lasso' received a record-breaking twenty nominations going into the event. The show took home four awards, including Outstanding Comedy Series and Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series, which went to Jason Sudeikis.

The 27th Critics Choice Awards will be broadcast on Sunday January 9th, 2022.
