The 94th annual Academy Awards are set to take place on Sunday, March 27. Here’s our guide to watching the 2022 Oscars on Apple TV.

Hosted by Regina Hall, Amy Schumer and Wanda Sykes, the 94th Oscars promises to be full of surprises as it aims to unite movie lovers in a three hour celebration of the last year of film.

Presenters for the awards show are set to include Halle Berry, John Travolta, Uma Thurman, Elliot Page, Lady Gaga, Zoë Kravitz, Anthony Hopkins, Jamie Lee Curtis, Samuel L. Jackson, Sean Combs, Daniel Kaluuya and many more.

The Oscars’ orchestra headed by music director Adam Blackstone will make its triumphant return alongside blink-182’s Travis Barker on drums, with accompaniment from Sheila E., pianist Robert Glasper, The Samples and DJ D-Nice.

When and How

  • 6:30 pm ET / 3:30 pm PT – Red carpet and pre-show coverage (ABC, E! Entertainment)
  • 8:00 pm ET / 5:00 pm PT – Official start time (ABC)


Live streaming services, including Hulu+ Live TV, Fubo TV and YouTube TV. All services include access to ABC.

YouTube TV costs $65 a month and includes a three-day free trial. Fubo TV and Hulu+ Live TV offer seven-day free trials and cost $70 a month.

The ceremony will also be added to Hulu’s on-demand service on March 28.
