Apple Original Films have released the official trailer for 'The Sky is Everywhere', the upcoming feature film adaptation of the popular novel by Jandy Nelson. The film will release in time for Valentine's Day weekend and premieres on Apple TV+ and in theatres on February 11th.

The film tells the story of Lennie, a teen musical prodigy grieving the death of her sister, who finds herself caught between a new guy at school and her sister’s grief-stricken boyfriend. Lennie navigates love and loss through her vibrant imagination to create her own song and the trailer gives us a sneak peak at some of the bright, otherworldly imagery used to convey this.

Directed by Josephine Decker and starring Grace Kaufman, Pico Alexander, Jacques Colimon, Julia Schlaeper, Ji-young Yoo, Havana Rose Liu, Cherry Jones, and Jason Segel, the trailer promises a tearjerker that will most certainly have us reaching for the tissues.

Fun Fact:
The film rights to the novel were originally optioned back in 2012 by Selena Gomez' production company July Moon, with Gomez set to play Lennie in the film at the time.

The Sky Is Everywhere can now be pre-added to your Up Next queue.
